All Contestants must be members in good standing with one of the following national organizations: USA Judo (USJI), USJF, USJA ATJA or AJJF. Competitors from other States and affiliations other than COLORADO USA Judo must present their membership card to compete. Only local club membership in USA Judo can be verified by the Colorado Judo League. Note that new USA Judo registrants may not appear on the USA Judo website, so bring your membership card with you to verify your new registration.
Divisions may be combined if warranted by number of entries. Coaches who approve the combining of divisions have volunteered, on behalf of their student, to have them compete in a division that may not be the student’s normal age or weight division. A competitor who voluntarily enters an age, weight or rank division that is higher than their normal novice or regular division must abide by the rules of that division.
