Kan Geiko 2014

Here's the kan geiko info. For those of you new to Judo, kan geiko is "winter training" a Japanese tradition to train in the bitter winter cold at the beginning of the New Year to toughen one's spirit. Here, we celebrate "kan geiko" by visiting surrounding Judo clubs for a whole week to start off the New Year with the intent of training hard. Make as many of these as you can.

A few items to note:

1. For Monday night DBT Judo members do not have to input a parking pass code at the kiosk IF you have parking pass hang tag.

2. Aikido has graciously moved their practice into the auditorium for Monday night. If some of us can arrive early, let's help Aikido move tables, chairs and mats in the auditorium.

3. Print and sign the attached Denver Judo waiver if you plan to go to the Wed and/or Fri practice. (I will not likely make the Friday practice as it is a soccer night for one of my boys.)

4,. We may be taking Thursday since its still open. I am still looking into parking permission.

5. Practice Jita Kyoei (mutual benefit and welfare) meaning train hard but safely
